The present study has the goal to assemble the genome of a male individual of the species Oenanthe melanoleuca (Eastern Black-eared Wheatear). For this genome, PacBio long reads, 10X Genomics Chromium linked reads and HiC map were generated. In addition, the transcriptome of the same individual from multiple tissues (brain and testis, liver and kidney) were used to annotate the genes in this genome.
